A plaster cylinder with a small wooden wedge fitted perfectly into it.

A piece of 4” x 4” timber with one thin slice cut from it lying next to it.

A plaster cylinder with three slices sawn out of it. One slice is still within the cylinder, one slice has been pulled away, and one slice is missing.
