In August 1978 the artist visited an old deserted house near the Welsh border and took a series of photographs using long exposures, thus illuminating the dark interior.

A year later the photographs were mounted in a in a waterproof frame, and attached to a wall inside the house.

In December 1980 the artist visited the house again. The photographs had gone. All that was left were two brass screws, lying on the floor in front of the place where the frame had been.
